Imagine Tsumari pork, vacuum sealed, slow cooked in hot spring waters, and set to ensure tender meat and maximum taste. No need to imagine, it’s real.
Using this method of cooking, our Tokamachi brand pigs are finished with a red color unlike any cooked pork you’ve seen elsewhere. Prepared in hot spring temperatures between 63℃ and 68℃ over a period of 2 hours, this pig earns the name “watering pig.”
With this plan, you can enjoy a meal prepared using absolutely no fossil fuels. Truly an ecological experience. The slow and careful low-temperature vacuum cooking process is quite unique and produces a beautiful rose colored meat. This meal is exclusive to Matsunoyama.
