It is a room named after "Ishida Baigan" who is a philosopher of the Edo period who originated from Kameoka city and who is known for preaching the morals of merchants and preaching "sekimon shingaku", which is said to be the origin of Japanese CSR.

There is a wood deck where you can see the warehouse from the living room.

It is a large trading company in Kyoto who was active from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period, and is named after "Suminokura Ryoi" which is also known as a civil engineer who designed the Takase River and designed the Lake Biwa Canal.
Please enjoy the stay "Hanare" while doing opening of the Hozugawa river and building the foundation for the current Kameoka sightseeing "Hozugawa descending"
