We welcome you to our 200 years old traditional thatched roof lobby house.
Each guest suite has been decorated with regional Art and has a private semi open-air hot spring bath.

Wabizakura
means modest cherry blossom, a symbol of strength and kindness. The inn was named for the love of nature and its peaceful surroundings. Perfect for star-gazing, our area, Kadoya, is known for its clear skies, virgin landscape, and nostalgic history.

3hours and 10min from JR Tokyo Station to JR Kakunodate Station by Komachi Akita Shinkansen.

Air
An hour flight from Haneda Airport in Tokyo to Akita Airport. Approx. 50mins by Taxi from Akita Airport to Wabizakura.
Akita Airport Liner shuttle service available (reservation required, approx.2,600yen per person), approx.60 minutes. Disembark at Kakunodate and take taxi to Wabizakura(15min)
