Climb the stairs to this 2nd floor guest room "Jyo Yama". It overlooks the naka-niwa central garden and has a pleasant view of its eponymous mountain topped by the Arato-jo Fort. On the side of the mountain are the kanji characters of the town's name and the onsen symbol -- like the Hollywood sign except this one is lit up at night.
The Japanese-style room is 10-tatami mat size. The tokonoma alcove and veranda are on the smaller side, but the toilet is an updated bidet style.
Refrigerator, safety box, 19" TV, WiFi, sink (cold water only), and heating/cooling.
