KURA(Storage Hut Room/Western room)
This is Abeke’s only western style bedroom which takes advantage of the samurai residence’s sturdy storage hut.
You are able to experience the environment created by the magnificent beams running through the room’s ceiling.
Another characteristic of this room is both the checkered pattern tatami mats accidentally found when refurbishing the hut, and Gungendo’s seasonal bed linen which uses natural materials to its full potential. It is a room that can only be experienced here at Abeke.
If a reservation is made for a party of four, both the first and second floor of the Western Rooms can be used (each room has two beds).
